The best of the best !

The best you can stay in Ubud area. The breakfast is excellent and covers all tastes. The staff is polite and willing to serve you. The facilities are around the mountain and the river in the nature. The spa and the team are experts. We stayed two people in the villa with private pool and mountain view. I highly recommend it! Thanks for the perfect stay Royal Pita Maha !

nature is unique, staff are polite and kind. SPA was amazing :)

it wasn't clean and the facilities were not modernized. Doors don't close properly and you may see lizards, and insects indoor.

When I saw the Price I thought it’s high, but when I reach there it’s a heaven on earth, everything is amazing specially the view, cleanliness of the place, and Villa size is amazing too!

Villa size is so good, bathtub is amazing specially for honeymooners or couples, the place is so clean too

No property in Ubud has a better view than The Royal Pita Maha, nor a better river section of Ayung. Como, Four Seasons, Ritz, Capella, Alila, Maya, none can compare.

- F&B. It is not bad, but truly not a 5-star standard. More like a 4-star. - Linens do smell a little mouldy. - Toiletries. They are truly 3-star quality. Very 90s. Soap, shower gel, shampoo, lotion, etc. - Air conditioner is not sufficient enough. - Hospitality from the staff. Nothing bad, but could be warmer and brighter for such an amazing property.

Unique hotel

Deluxe villa was really good and beautiful. The hotel’s healing pool is really something. There is a waterfall on the property. I think it is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in.

Only thing we didn’t like was the kitchen. The food was quite tasteless.

Loveley private pool villa.

The resort is beautiful and relaxing villa pool. The weather is nice and the greenery surroundings is amazing. The location on the river adds value to this property and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help.

Too many steps to climb to reach your room and the restaurants are on different levels. Also the swimming pool and the river needs too many steps to reach.

Hidden treasure right in the middle of the nature.

Room is comfy and very huge. Private pool, garden, living area, view, sound of nature. It was amazing. Whole resort was amazing, you can walk and discover every corner. We didn't go out of the hotel, because of our honeymoon. We planned our trip after here. Private pool is very special but because you are in the nature, you can see mosquitos, frogs and geckos. However, It wasn't problem for us, we were ready about them. Public infinity pool and holy spring are also very good. Breakfast was very good, we got open buffet in first two days in, you need to walk, climb for it. But the menu range is quite wide. On the last day we got floating breakfast. It was a good experience again. Staff were kind, helpful and amazing. Thanks for all the gifts.

Restaurants' lunch and dinner prices are quite high compared to Ubud Center. Of course it is luxury hotel.

Beautiful hotel, welcoming, friendly staff and a slice of paradise in Ubud!

The hotel looks exactly like the photographs- absolutely beautiful. The check-in lobby is beautiful, staff greet you with fresh juice, take your time in checking-in and make you feel very special. We managed to change our rooms owing to accessibility issues which was greatly appreciated and found everyone to be very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but has very less options for vegetarian/vegan guests, we found out 2 days before we left that we could request more vegetarian options to be cooked by the chef which were delicious- but I feel that should have been made clear at the start. The views at breakfast are beautiful and around the hotel are fantastic. Having access to your own swimming pool all day, the hotel pools, waterfall and holy spring were outstanding. The rooms have excellent sitting areas, bathrooms and a huge bedroom which are all very generous and comfortable. The only thing to be mindful of is the number of stairs you have to climb everywhere- one to consider if you have mobility issues.

The excursion we planned to visit a temple was very expensive and when we arrived- the temple was under construction which was disappointing. I would have expected the hotel to know this before we left and completed a 3 hour trip to be disappointed and spend a lot of money. Our driver, which was also booked by the hotel, took us to a waterfall (everything has an entry ticket cost) which we couldn't access because of mobility issues- again I felt disappointed that he tried to rip us off. The rooms service was a little confusing- every day something was missed and sometimes- we would be visited 3 times to ask whether we needed anything which disturbed us a little. The shuttle into Ubud was excellent, but the timings a little restricted- 11:00, 15:00 and 18:00. For the cost of our stay, I would have expected a few more things to be included in the price- with very expensive room service, laundry and taxi costs into town.

Amazing villa with an infinity pool that has stunning views of the rainforest

The villa was incredible with the best infinity pool and view we’ve ever experienced. It had an amazing concrete spa bath that was sunken into the floor. The villa was so nice that we didn’t want to leave for the two days we were there! The grounds of property itself also had great facilities and multiple pools and a waterfall! The morning yoga was complementary which was a nice inclusion. They also gave us sarongs as a gift and a little egg with our names on it which was lovely! The breakfast was included and was great! Would definitely stay here again! Ultimate honeymoon getaway!

The in house restaurant food wasn’t great.. a bit too westernised and quite expensive. Would recommend eating outside the resort.

Recommended, overall an excellent place, but can adjust a few things.

Excellent view from Royal pool villa. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast

The shower place and toilet is small in my pov. And the doors need better adjustment, so is the water flow through the drain. The TV wasn't functioning. The room can add more lights if possible.

Breathtaking views, spa is on another level!

The property is huge and we had so much fun exploring and playing at the different pools. I felt so sad when i had to leave because the surrounding nature (waterfall, river etc) was so beautiful. And the spa service and spa villas are truly on another level - a must visit even just to experience the spa. I felt so relaxed!!

Be prepared physically because you have to climb plenty of steps to explore the property. Expect bugs - you're surrounded by nature. Food options may not be as exciting as other properties but is reliably good. Villas have an old design but are very well maintained.

Wonderful

Best team, they are the jewel of resort! The serenity, the healing villa & our pool, the spa, selections of breakfast, the jungle resort itself is beautiful. Its a massive place to explore first before visiting the neighborhoud or outside the resort. Must dine in the arung lake resto you feel relaxed with the sound of lake & nature view.

The elevator was out of service for 4 days! I feel so bad for their staff that doing the room service during the rainy nights and checking out bringing up to the lobby our big luggages, the management should know how hard it is not only for their guest but for their team!. The elevator usually under maintenance for 24 hrs only! The villa we stayed are not for elderly, with knee and leg problem, difficulty on climbing stairs and people of determination.
